Well, here I am with MORE problems with my MBP. it was on this morning, I took it to work where I NEED it, openeed it up, it thought for a second, and then froze. I turned it off (held down the power button) and now it won't restart. It comes up to a blue screen, and that's it. there is a CD in the drive, so I can't put in the system disk. I tried holding down the trackpad button on start, I tried alt, all to no avail. the problem is, there is no start. How in the heck do I get this CD out?

Thanks,
--A very disgruntled Mac owner

I'd take it to an Apple Store/retailer, they'll be able to put it into firewire target disk mode to boot from a CD.

I have an appt tomorrow, and you better believe that I am going to be raising hell in that store! I will make a huge scene in front of as many customers as I can if they don't fix it. I am getting pretty fed up with this machine, its just not performing like its supposed to, I bought it to run PRO apps on because its a macbook PRO, and all it seems to do is suck!

Hell, the Powermac G3 I'm on right now is working better than that fancy thing has been in the past few months!

before making a scene try other things... repairing different things, pmu and stuff. And talk reasonably. I'm guessing you are still within one year tech warranty so why don't you just walk in and say my machine isn't working and they have to fix it... No need to get all worked up especially with a little thing called warranty :D Apple can be very reasonable if you are ncie to them. Be come but firm.

well, that's the idea for first approach. I've just been dealing with them for awhile now, and I have some other problems they better take care of..... like my faulty power adapter
