With iOS 13, I remember you could force touch notifications and see the whole message.

With iOS 14, has there been a change?

When I force press onto the message it shows the first few sentences of it but it doesn’t show the whole message like it did before.
This is for outlook, WhatsApp.

Basically, I just want to force touch and see the whole message without opening the app and marking the messages as read. It only shows a few sentences.

My settings have not changed
Notifications>show previews when unlocked

Thanks for any help or testing!

Assuming you have an old enough device that has the force touch hardware, there's a toggle for the feature buried in Accessibility settings. iOS 14 disabled force touch for me and I had to turn it back on in that menu.

Thanks but it's not the force touch that's the issue - the previews come up are only a few sentences. Before you could peek at the whole message.

Ahh, sorry I can't read as quickly as I thought evidently.

I haven't noticed that issue, but we have seen a general trend away from dense text UI. Maybe try lowering your font size, turning off bold text, etc. But those aren't really solutions.

Thanks. It looks like iOS14 in general has removed full preview :(

looks like this is just a negative change iOS 14 brought.

Thanks for posting though, know I know it's not just me.
