The only description of this says that this is a compatibility tweak for iOS 6. What the hell does that mean?

There is very little info to find on this, but one site mentioned that it brings lockscreen weather animation to iOS 6. Is that true?

Does anyone know anything about this?

I don't want to install it to find out I've messed up my older version of Forecast then find that it's still messed up if I uninstall it.
