Ok, I swear things didnt used to be like this but i recently decided to import Pirates 2: Dead Mans Chest to the appleTV. File is about 2.2GB. Now, my G5 is hooked up to Netgear N router. AppleTV has N built in. Why oh why is it taking it over 14 hours to accomplish this? and thats just today! It tried to do it during another 8 hour time yesterday. What the frak?

That's really odd. It should only take like 10 minutes or so. Try unplugging the Apple TV for a couple minutes or resetting your router.

yea, ill try that because I was attempting to Sync Pirates 2 and Matrix 1, total a max of 4GB and I started to sync yesterday at 11am and now its today, almost 11:30am and its still not done syncing both of them :eek:were going on over a day now.....

I've noticed ungodly slow syncs as well... and not necessarily with large videos like that. I've had single songs take 15 minutes!

This is on a g network, where i can transfer the same song from one computer to another in less than a minute. What gives?

Just got mine the other day, but the wireless blows me away. Very fast syncing and streaming. Hope that doesn't change for me. AppleTV is across house from my AE too.

It could be interference in your wireless signal. Maybe something in your house or a neighbor's occasionally messes with your traffic. I assume you have 5.8 Ghz phones rather than 2.4 Ghz. Maybe there was a bottleneck in your router. It could be lots of things, the only way to really test it is to take the router and the ATV to another location and see if you have similar problems or hook it up via the ethernet port rather than wireless.
