...but I have a couple of questions.

1. Is this going to be a 1st gen G6 or an updated G5?
2. Does anyone have any indication as to colours/materials other than aluminium styles?
3. Is ther anything (with past revisions) that would indiate Apple will drop the price?
4. Has anyone given an indication of the speed bump, and how big is it?

The 'G' naming died with PowerPC. It's all intel x86 processors now.

Nope, and even the metal finish is speculative.

Not especially.
4. Has anyone given an indication of the speed bump, and how big is it?
Expect something more or less similar to the MacBook Pro specs, iMacs are usually vaguely in line with Apple notebooks.

1. The iMac hasn't been a G5 since January last year. It was named "G5" because it had that processor inside it. The G5 moniker was not in reference to design of the computer. It will just be a revision b. iMac Core 2 Duo.

As to your other questions, there really isn't a single person on this site who can offer you answers - the best they can do is an educated guess and even then they're likely to be wrong. You can search for those subjects or read the front page stories on them - both those sources hold all the information we possess.
