iPad Forgot iPad password

I have forgotten the passwords on my iPad due to not using for a while.

Is there any other way to get into it except for resetting?

This is where the fun starts... I can't reset it because I can't get into my iTunes account because it wants to send an authorisation code to my locked iPad

You cannot use your phone to receive the authentication code?

They do that so when a device is stolen/trying to be accessed by someone that shouldn’t, can’t get in.
