i have my new macbook pro. i wanna transfert my keychain data to my new macbook but i forget my old password. i have Time machine but also use the some password that i forgot. currently i have the login.keychain but i can't access to any password because i have to enter the old macbook password :(

any idea please 🙏 to recover the password.

It is not possible to recover a forgotten password, as they are not recorded anywhere in the system.

This is why we write passwords down on paper, or in a little black book, or keep them in a "passwords file" on the computer (in an encrypted file which is password-protected, of course).

If you don't know the old password, looks like it's time to "start fresh".
And this time... WRITE IT DOWN.
