Hi,

I have an old Windows 7 pc.
I copied some files off of it on to a USB Memory stick.
Copied just fine.

I also have an iMac, and Parallels for it.
The USB Stick will Not show when I use Parallels to get to the virtual Windows 10.

But-

The USB Stick, and all the files in it do show up on the Mac side !

What is going on ?
Can't understand.

And, any way to get the files (that show up in the OS) to the Windows side (via Parallels ) ?

Much thanks,
Bob

Can’t remember the specifics about Parallels, but I have VMWare and when you insert a USB device it asks you if you want to mount it under macOS or Windows. There is also the option to remember that setting for that device in future. So if you’ve done this you may find its automatically doing that and mapping it to macOS not Windows. I expect you can switch that off somehow in settings for Parallels if so... good luck.
