Formatting OSX in command line

Hello,
Recently I purchased a used iMac (colored shell) and upon getting home found out that the previous owners never took the admin password off. Is there a way to reformat in command line so that I can install Tiger onto it and gain admin rights?

Any help greatly apreciated.

You could just start from the Tiger DVD (or CDs) by holding 'C' down while booting and perform a clean install. If you want to ugrade just change the admin password...
