Formatting videos to use full screen

im trying to reformat my old videos so they make the most out of the 11” screen. Any advice how I can do this? What apps may allow for this?

Current videos have a widescreen look with huge black bars top and bottom

You can check out Lumafusion. But you'd crop the videos to fit?

If the original Video is shot in 16:9 there is no way you can make it look full screen without cropping some part of the Video. It will show in a letterbox format !! Not Possible !!

You'd have to crop your videos to a 4.3:3 or 12.9:9 ratio for the 11" screen. Not sure why you'd bother doing that though.

If the original Video is shot in 16:9 there is no way you can make it look full screen without cropping some part of the Video. It will show in a letterbox format !! Not Possible !!

It wouldn't even be a "smart" crop like pan & scan.
