Not terrible, but the Wear OS hardware bar isn’t a terribly high one to clear right now. Nice to see it has all the requisite features. Display is pretty damn small however, with some chunky bezels. The 3100 is also a pretty subpar chip.

Now let’s see Google put some actual effort into supporting Wear OS long term.

It looks like it might be worth every penny of the 255$. Sure does suck that there isn’t an Android Wear watch that’s worth 400$+ or a better chip than the Qualcomm Wear 3100.

I hope reviews drop. If it's priced the same as a Garmin 235, then why not get a smartwatch on top of that with Google Pay? Just hope the sports aspect of the watch is accurate and good. That's what I'm waiting to see.

I really don't find the design bad. It's no Galaxy Watch S3, of course, but I'm fine with a lighter, more minimalistic design.

Reviews are lukewarm. Decent at best. Oh well...

Feel free to jump in anytime, Google.

Until Google makes their own chips for a watch, mediocre is all you’re going to get. Qualcomm doesn’t seem to know what they’re doing with watches.

Might as well. I'm not a smartwatch guy anyway. Still love my classic watch collection.

I was really looking for a running watch replacement, and thought if it's good enough, it would be nice to have Google Pay on board. I'll stick to Garmin.
