Hey, so after installing iOS16 I was looking at some settings and noticed this in my background refresh menu called "Web"... I am not sure what this is or used to be.

It was enabled, then I disabled it.

Any clue what this may be?

I've got that too. Maybe it's a system file that's supposed to be hidden.
I found a mention of this on StackExchange looks very similar, however it shows in battery usage instead. I don't personally have it showing there.

It could be a system file

I can also confirm that after I opened a WebGL app saved on my Homescreen it started counting discharge time! My worry can be over now... I get paranoid easily 😅
