Well I am into my forth day with my new iMAC and my wife has had her's for three days. This is our first
and are both VERY happy with them.
We got the 24" 2.8 + 500GB drive + 4GB OWC. Both had the Leopard drop-in and two Tiger disks.
The things are just simply beautiful. I am still getting used to the interface, but surprisingly enough, most tasks are pretty intuitive. I am not sold on the keyboard yet, still trying to get used to it. I have been used to larger ergo keyboards. I am liking the mouse, even though I was a trackball guy. Still getting used to things.
I still get a kick out of seeing how easy it does things. Plugged in a printer, and was waiting for a confirmation of some sort. LoL and behold the printer is already available. Then I plugged in our video camera, and opened iMovie. Funny thing, it took lil time and all the videos on the drive are there and ready to use. Now to start having fun with Garage Band!
Neither one has any apparent gradient issues and *knock on wood* neither have had any issues freezing up.
My only complaint I have, is that I didn't switch sooner!
Giddy like a lil kid!
Now to start thinking about a mini for our 4 yr old, to replace his Dell.
