I got my iPhone 3G 16GB on the day it came out and now I am restoring it for the fourth time. It runs fine by itself, but has frozen and required a restore four times when it is plugged up to my computer (macbook pro). It seems that when I apply app updates through the iPhone App Store and sync back with my computer is when the freezes happen. Is anyone else having so many freezes/restores with their iPhone 3G? Any suggestions, if so?

Yep, everyday. However today it bricked itself.

Correction...fifth time restoring iPhone. I can not remember an Apple product that I have had a worse experience with.
