Looks like Polar Bear Farm is having one heck of a sale. All their apps are free, including:

Record - used to be $1.99
Note Pad - used to be $2.99
Duck Shoot - used to be $0.99
Telegram - used to be $5.99

Saw the prices dropped while visiting appshopper.com this morning. I'm so glad arn made that site!

I really like Record so far and replaced iDicto with that. Note Pad is kinda meh; needs more customization options and a horizontal keyboard. Both those apps sync with their "Sink" app, which is kinda confusing to use at first but easy and overly simple once you get the hang of it. Duck Shoot is pretty fun but I can't see a huge replay value at all, even though it is well executed and the graphics are great. Telegram is a bit of a novelty, but I tested it by sending one to myself and it worked as promised within seconds. I think the main thing that I like about all their apps is the clean design and relative ease of use. I think they have a lot of future potential!

I thought this was going to be about an app where you manage a virtual polar bear farm, and the weather gets really warm, but Sarah Palin says that the bears will be just fine.

They're fine. They'll just evolve back into black bears, right? Heh.

Changed the title. These are some neat little apps.

Duck shoot is pretty fun. It is smooth, accurate and works well with nice graphics for the effect they were trying to achieve. I don't see it having long-term replayability. Record works really well and makes nice recordings with great clarity.

Yep. It said for a limited time so I guess that was a day. I got all of them except for the Notes which doesn't provide much more than the original notes app.

I know Polar Bear Farm! If you are reading this, at least make the NotePad app have landscape support and copy / paste. Then I will replace the built in Notes app. This app in it's current form doesn't have much value.
