Apple is offering 1 year free of Apple TV+ if you purchase an iPhone, AppleTV, iPad, or Mac.
The fine print states: "$4.99/month after free trial. One subscription per Family Sharing group. Offer good for 3 months after eligible device activation, starting November 1, 2019. Plan automatically renews until cancelled. Restrictions and other terms apply."
Does that mean that it's only for purchases made after Nov1? Or is that date there because AppleTV+ doesn't launch until Nov1?
