Hi,
with the imminent release of iOS4 I've sent to Apple a new app, ABContacts Lite, a reduced version of my other popular app ABContacts.
The Lite version is free and uses the new iAd technology added to iOS4 to display some ads in a small part of the screen.

With the app one can manage contacts and groups, send group text (this is also a feature of iOS4) and group email. The graphics look is very similar to the Apple Contacts app.
Moreover the app supports multitasking and stays in the background; this means that even users with very big address book will not suffer for slow loading time with the exception of the first time.

I've also sent to Apple a similar upgrade for my app [app]ABContacts[/app] that has many more features than this new Lite version.

OMG! I love you. You just saved me from switching over to the dark side(HTC Evo). This is the one feature that I've been begging for. I have to send group texts to over 100 people two or three times a week. I will definitely pick this up on day one. Please let us know when it's approved.

The app is available now on the App Store !

P.S.
If you don't like ads, take a look at the "full" version or if you want quick and easy group texting take a look at "Group Text!". Links in signature.
