hi my headphones dont plug all the way into my ipod, its still under warranty so do you think apple will

1) try to fix it (eg. replace the headphone jack inside ipod)
2) give me a refurbished one with 90 days warranty (good because mine is already really scratched up and i dont mind a shiny new one)

3) or simply refuse to do anything and give me the original ipod back since it's "not covered under warranty"? (i.e. "it's your fault you got **** stuck inside the headphone jack" - I WOULD HATE FOR THIS TO HAPPEN.

i've had this happen before and they gave me a new ipod. my friend broke his ipod 5 times and everytime apple didnt bother repairing, and just gave him refurbished ones.

tell me your experiences :)

Take it to an Apple store and they might replace it on the spot.

LOL nice idea

i did! but i ended up going to a reseller because..

apple: *tries to shove headphone thingy in hole* *only 3/4 goes in, stuck*

apple: "ok did you purposely put ANYTHING ino the headphone jack?"
me: "no, i use my ipod carefully."
apple: "mmhm. well you need to make an appointment with a genius so they can try to FIX IT. it looks like someone purposely stuck something into the jack"
me: (thinks) genius.. fix..my..ipod? what if they blame everything on me and refused to replace my ipod? "umm i dont have time, i'll come back when i have time"
apple: "have a nice day"

anyway i went to reseller..

reseller: *tries to shove headphone thingy in hole* *only 3/4 goes in, stuck*

reseller: "no worries, we'll send this in, apple normally replaces it."
me: "ok awesome"

:)

apple was kinda tightarse
