Can anyone recommend a simple drawing programme for a creative 10 yr old? He'd like to draw cartoons on his iBook G3

Thank you :)

Kid Pix used to be great, and it should run in Classic, but I have absolutely no idea whether it is/was free.

They're still making it! Kid Pix Deluxe 3X is listed on MU as a Universal Binary too. But it looks weird.... I think it'd be neater to get an older version of Kid Pix to run in Classic/OS 9. I sure enjoyed it back in the day.

I am not sure about the drawing software. But I know of something very useful which lets the kids have fun and at the same time they get to learn a lot as well

A couple of free programs my kids like:

ArtRage is a natural media draw/paint program. They offer a free version called ArtRage 2.5 Starter Edition.

Cosmic Painter is another old favorite. You paint on a rotating canvas. Runs in Tiger - have not tried it in Snow Leopard.
