Hi, I've got a bunch of movies in .avi format that I'd like to convert to a format that I could use on my iPod Touch. Is there such a program around, for Mac, that would allow me to do this and not require that I either pay 29.99 or give me a "trial" version that only allows a few minutes of converting?

Thanks

Depending on how many configuration options you want, you can also try FFMPEG. It's what iSquint/Visualhub actually use but have a much nicer UI than the actual FFMPEG program (which is very overwhelming if you don't know what you're doing LOL).

Definitely iSquint. It's a really great program. The developer also has a sense of humor too, just hold your mouse over some of the stuff and read the little help bubbles. :D
