So I ordered my new refurb $999 20" iMac Friday afternoon with an expected 3-5 shipping days. Well, over the weekend I'm getting antsy because I'm doing all my normal "i need it now" research. I decide to call Apple this morning to see if I can upgrade to Overnight shipping so when it ships I'll get it the next day, even if that is a few days from now. I would ahve upgraded online but when I clicked change ship method it told me to call in.

I explain my situation and he decided to give me free overnight shipping!

I'm jumping off the walls here in SE Louisiana!

Good stuff... I am glad Apple people are as generous as they used to be a long time ago... especially in these hard times of financial crisis ;)
