Hey, I just released my newest iOS 7 app. Let me know what you think.

Just point to scan and call a number.

With Point & Dial, you can scan a poster, a paper, a billboard or a screen and detect the phone number.

The app not only detect phone numbers, you can detect email addresses and websites too.

Once you are done scanning, you can copy and share it.

Just trying to understand the app... and forgive me if this sounds critical...

It's a free app, but based on the first screen shot, it looks like you have to purchase additional "scans" so that the app will function and detect phone numbers to call? Hmm...

And, if I understand the premise of the app...

You see a sign with a phone number and want to call the number on the sign. In order to do that, you launch your app, hold your phone up in the direction of the sign, focus on the number and if there's more than one possible match, you select it from the list, look up to confirm you've selected the right one, then tap to dial?

And this is faster/easier than just looking at the number and dialing in the native phone app.... how?

Again - if I missed something in the function and utility of the app, please explain.

Correct. You get 2 free scans you can buy more scans. The app also scans email address and links.
