Shame the sign out time is a max of 30 mins and the alerts don't seem to be coming through as instantly as Beejive. A lot I do like about the application though. Look forward to see how this app is improved.

It's free!!! Like I said only drawback seems to be it disconnects after 30 mins max. That and the fact it still seems a bit buggy with PUSH....

no only that, the notifications only tell you: "you have new IM from..."...not actual message text...forget this...for free, nimbuzz or palringo should be better

I was pretty excited when I saw this so I downloaded it and set up my accounts, but I'm also having push delay issues. Actually I haven't had one come across yet and I've tested several.

And the 30 minute limit is a real bummer.

Too bad. It's a nice app and I would've even paid for it if it worked well.

Well it works great while you're in it and it looks good. I like how it tells you when the other person is typing.

I'm happy I downloaded it as now I get future updates (hopefully improving upon what they have) for free.

For now I'll be going back to IM+.

Agreed.

I love this app, and with improvements to Push and log-in time I think I would use this app most of the time. There is a section of the app where you can provide feedback, I have been using this alot lately, and I am sure if others start as well than the improvements will be made!

I've used ebuddy for my nokia, and i've used ebuddy lite on my kyocera. (when it was free...I didn't know it wasn't free anymore)
and it's been alright.

On the other hand, I do agree with stephendoc1984, that it's a little bit buggy.

I have not used it on a iPhone.

But what I am wondering, what is "Push"?

But for the mac, I suggest Adium and set up the hellotxt gtalk function within it (via hellotxt.com). and maybe add some plugins / extensions /scripts etc to Adium.
But here's the status of development of Adium for the iPhone...
