Update (April 6): Apple just approved a pretty major update, to version 1.2. This update adds support for the much requested Angular Black theme from the full version! It also lets you show the next alarm time in the lower left, another much requested addition.

The first screenshot below is of the new Angular Black theme. As always, you can customize the wallpaper choice, as well as the theme and alarm sounds.

Thanks for all the support, and I fully intend not only to continue improving the full version, but also the free version. I'd love to hear any feature requests that any of you might have.

Some of you have probably seen my post about Nightstand Weather Clock:

Well, today, I'd like to announce Nightstand Weather Clock Free Version, available in the App Store now.

The free version of Nightstand gives you the elegance and ease of use of the full version, but it's free, of course! It's perfect if you just need a basic alarm clock, or you want to try Nightstand out.

FULL VERSION:
The full version still costs only 99 cents, and gives you the following extras:
*************************************************************
★ Music Alarms - Wake up to your own songs, playlists, and soon, podcasts and audio books

★ Sleep Timer - Fall asleep to your favorite tunes (and soon, podcasts and audio books books) or even white noise, and let Nightstand automatically shut off the sound when your asleep. (Sleep timer will be available very soon, in update 2.3)

★ Customize with your own photo wallpapers

★ Multiple Wallpapers - Change automatically at a set time interval

★ Further customize by easily changing the position of the Clock and Weather widgets

★ A convenient, built in flashlight - Just shake to turn on or off
*************************************************************

Anyway, check the free version out here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/nightstand-weather-clock-free/id358044367?mt=8

I just wanted to share that the full version of Nightstand Weather Clock has been chosen as an App Store Staff Favorite for this week. I'm very excited! Thanks everyone for helping me along the way.

New features will be coming soon (to the free version, as well).

Wow! I'm really happy for you, that usually leads to some major sales. I snagged your app on the very first release and have used and loved it since :)

Congrats on being featured! Hope it really boosts your sales.

Thanks a lot to both of you! Sales have really gone up, and right now, I'm at #101 in US Top Overall. I'm trying to get into the top 100 and I'm *so close :)

Just picked up the free version. It looks pretty promising. If I enjoy it as much as everybody else I'll be sure to get the full version.

Congrats on your success in the App Store. :)
