Hello,

I want to migrate my Parallels VM to VirtualBox. However, VB doesn't read Parallels VMs. I wanted to use the VMware converter, but the EULA says that it is only for use in migrating VMs for use in VMware software.

So, besides VMware converter, are there any other free tools that will let me convert my Parallels machine for use in VirtualBox? I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8.

VMware is on sale for 56% off at MacUpdate until midnight tonight, and I'd like to get in on that if I'm not able to convert my VM for use in VirtualBox.

MacMall has VMware Fusion (version 1.x -- free upgrade to version 2.x) for $19.95 after $10 rebate.

Order it. Download VMware Fusion 2.0 trial. Install. When you get your package, insert the key into the app and register it. Now download VMware converter.

Good luck!

Oooh, sweet. That's a great deal. I'll probably just jump on that. Thanks so much!
