Free vs Paid Apps - What's the Balance?

Hi

What is the balance of apps free vs paid?

Bought my first iPhone (6) yesterday but won't be opening it until Christmas Day. On Android, there's a lot of popular games which are free but I have a feeling I will have to pay on iOS.

I know a lot of apps, such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Twitter are free.

Sounds like you're making an assumption that may not be true. There are a lot of free apps on iOS.

Just go on iTunes and start searching, you don't need to do it on your iPhone.

You can manage with free apps. Anything that was free on Android is most likely going to be free on iOS.

You can just go on a computer with iTunes and look at the apps. I think there is a web version too, but not sure.

Just search on iTunes, there would be many free apps for your choices.
