Freezing when going into Stand By on MacBook Pro 2008

I have a problem with MacBook Pro 2008 (Penryn) ,



I pressed the Sleep button ,when screen "Preparing to stand by" appears the computer freezes at that screen, and I have to shut it down with power button.

It happens everytime when I do that?

HOw to make the sleep to work on mac in windows system?
