Is anyone else getting softcrashes on their 2017 ipad pros 10.5?
Whenever i have 2 apps side by side, and i try working with a slide over it’s not unusual to experience a soft crash and return to home screen.

So for example, having a safari page open and a youtube video going, then opening facebook messenger looking for a gif will sometimes cause a crash.

Is the RAM being maximized? 🤔

Does that only happen with slide over? I don’t use the feature much on my Pro. Regular two-window multitasking doesn’t see this happening?

Is the RAM being maximized?

And where would the OP find the answer to this question?

I’ve noticed Spotify crashing (being kicked out to the homescreen and it restarting) when scrolling through playlists when having it open side-by-side with another app. This started since 13.5.

I don’t have any RAM management issues that I have noticed so far.

It's really just RAM, rather insufficient RAM.

A measly 4GB RAM can only do so much today for anyone doing lots of memory intensive tasks. My 11 pro max even closes apps from time to time or stops playing music
