Now, this could be just the result of frequently plugging in ANY iPod, but it so happens that my Podcast-listening Nano is by far the most frequently plugged in out of my iP ods/hones and what happens is quite frequently iTunes just crashes mid-sync. I had a few crashes when the 1G Touches were the most frequent iPods I'd dock, but not with the frequency of the 4G Nano. The other iPods I sync with this Pro are two 2G Touches and two 3G iPhone - and to my knowledge, iTunes has not crashed on the occasions I've had those syncing - or at least, nowhere near as often.
The Nano was in FAT before, and now it's on HFS - but still no change.
Both up to date, as are all the other iP ods/hones I sync with this Pro.
Any insight you can shed on this? It's usually not a big deal, I just don't like doing things twice quite often when j.River Media Center hasn't crashed on me for almost a year doing near-identical things on the Windows side.
