Okay, I thought it wasn't supposed to do this unless prompted by the user. Both my iPhone and my iPad have decided to sync over wifi while NOT connected to power and it's happening really frequently, like once every few minutes frequently.

Anyone else seeing this issue? Seems weird and the fact that it's happening with both my iDevices makes me think it's a bug in the OS, not some fluke of my setup.

Oh, and I have hard booted both devices and rebooted my MacPro. No change.

Yup I mentioned this in the batterygate thread in the iPhone forum. This was causing a hug drain on my battery. I have sinced turned this feature off. Hope this gets fixed in the next update.

Okay, cool. I figured someone else had seen it too but didn't find a thread on it.

I'm turning off wifi synch too. You're right that it's killing my battery. Took it off the dock twenty minutes ago and it's already down 7%.
