Hi, wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem. I've only noticed it happening when not at home on wi-fi. I'll be out and about using my phone, when all of a sudden, I'll lose both reception and data on my phone. Restarting and rebooting have no effect, and my husband, who has same phone (not jailbroken, though), firmware (7.0.4), and carrier will have perfect reception, so I know it's not due to network problems. It wouldn't be a problem, save it sometimes takes as long as 30 minutes or more for reception and data to come back. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or if it's caused the evasi0n jailbreak itself or a particular tweak? Here are the tweaks I have installed, just in case it could be a tweak: Activator, afc2add, bitesms, Browser Changer, Bytafont 2, CCtoggles, Emphasize, Icon Renamer, Iconoclasm, iFile, iKeywi, Lock Screen Tool, Messages Customiser, Nitrous, NoAdStoreOpen, NoSlowAnimations, PandoraSkips, Purge, Push for Gmail, RecordMyScreen (tweak), Springtomize 3, SwipeSelection, Tabless, and TransparentVolume. I'd appreciate any help! Thanks in advance!

My phone lost cell service an hour ago randomly and I have no clue how to get it to connect! How did you fix your problem?

Turns out it's a SIM problem. After a while, my cell signal and data kept dropping more frequently and for longer periods of time, until they barely come on at all now. Consequently, I am unable to make calls or send text messages (can send and receive imessages fine as long as I'm on wifi). All I ever see is "Searching" where cell network and data signal strengths are supposed to be. I still have this problem, even though I did end up restoring my phone and setting it up as a new device. I took my phone to AT&T and they said it was a SIM problem, so they replaced my SIM, but that didn't do anything. So, took it to Apple and they said my phone is not able to detect and read the SIM card; it doesn't even notice when the SIM card is taken out. Only fix is to replace it (sadly, I'm out of warranty, and have to wait patiently until the iPhone 6 comes out). So, if you're having this problem and still in warranty, get your phone replaced ASAP. Sometimes it will get better and you'll think the problem is over, but it'll only get worse till you're paying a cellular bill for a device that's pretty much an iPod Touch :(
