Just trying to gauge which sites are flash heavy that people depend on that they won't get on their ipad/iphone/ipod touch

Hulu
... what else?

None for me. I use video streaming on YouTube and Netflix, both available on the iPad. The only way lack of Flash on the iDevices affects me is by blocking annoying ads.

For me, I can't see a lot of random video links from Reddit because most of them require flash. I've missed out on a lot of John Stewart video clips

Other than that, I don't frequent sites that use much, if any, flash.

Biggest would probably be Facebook videos and games like Farmville.

And any network that hasn't converted (when the iPad comes to Canada will you get cbc.ca? Or Channel 4 in the UK? Doubtful...)

There's also plenty of miscellaneous sites like Engadget.

There are very few sites I visit with my iPhone that suffer from lack of flash.

I don't expect my usage on the iPad to be much different .. especially since more and more places are coming up with HTML5 solutions.

Spankwire and ******* both hae h264 versions of their website. Don't know if all videos run on h264 now, but i know that the mobile Spankwire site works with iPhone, and ******* even has a specially designed iPad site.

Anyway...for me, the only website I use that has flash is Hulu. And the Colbert Report/Jon Stewart since they stopped putting those shows on Hulu.

I stopped watching flash videos/playing flash games when i was like...14. Also, i freaking hate the stupid Facebook games like Farmville. So no loss there.

Good to know chief.

In the 12 months or so since I have owned my iPhone 3GS, I think there have only been one ot two sites (Mercedes-Benz and Gucci) that I had issues with. Both which work perfectly fine on my iPhone today.

I think the iPhone caused a few companies to change their ways, however, I feel the iPad will be the biggest game changer. As more people get them, the more people will hopefully complain via the site 'Contact Us' link. This should force them to modify their website for Apple mobile devices if they are customer focused.

I have a friend who does web design and he is getting more business for website conversions to iPhone and iPad friendly designs.
