Fresh Air?

How many of you think there will be a revised Air in Oct.? Rumors are all pointing toward MB and MB Pro, nothing for the Air. I think Apple will show a new Air at MacWorld 09', anniversary of the Air release.

I think it's coming in January, when components will be a tad bit cheaper.

I really hope it is next month since I would love to upgrade my first generation MBA. I really love this Mac.

Here's what I need:

1. 128gb SSD
2. 4 gigs memory
3. Heat/core shut down issue fixed for real
4. A decent GPU (it's Ok if it's just the much better new Intel integrated GPU.)

Here's what I want:
1. Another USB port
2. Better battery life

If I can get my first list of upgrades in October, I will be very happy. Fingers crossed.

I think it's gonna' be MWSF '09 and nothing sooner (purchased two tickets already)...

I voted October, but that's just wishful thinking. Even if there were some refresh soon, I don't think it would be what we're waiting for. I think it unlikely that we'll see 8GB RAM in any Mac but Pro until the release of Snow Leopard (I know Leopard can deal with it, but I still think they'll wait), and unless they decide to narrow the gap between MacBook and MacBook Pro by offering all three lines with 4GB RAM, they won't be offering Air with 4GB. And while it's practically certain there'll be 120GB HDD, I don't think 128GB SSD is going to be available so soon (far too expensive still), unless as a very costly option.

I hope I'm wrong.

I'd go along with January, too, as it will be the first anniversary of what is (and was at the time) a truly revolutionary design.
Extra USB and greater capacity SSD would be nice, but I fear that price considerations will still determine that, which means that we may end up waiting a while longer.
