Same suggestion, if no particular problem. Update should give you less trouble (and work) than clean install.

Same here, just do the MAS update and you should be fine. It actually seems to run just a little quicker for me. Could just be my wishful thinking though. I'm bad about that at times.

One thing it didn't fix is my typing, I'm a little miffed about that. Perhaps on the next update. ;)

Installed over 10.0.2 on 5 Macs after seeing no issues with my first update with fingers crossed. 4 rMBPs and one Mini Server (all with solid backups...).

I run Onxy for specific reasons on my Mac from time to time. I don't use it as cleaning software, but as tool. Do any of you recommend me running that prior to the upgrade?

When using Trim Enabler be aware not to clean out the file system! Made that mistake myself... ;(

I usually use the OSXUpdate10.x.xCombo to install.

Using TE myself the routine with Yosemite has become more time consuming and quite a hazzle!

But life goes on!

Cheers

I have an OEM SSD in my system, so no worries there. How does that mess up TRIM?

I did a clean install as I last did one in April 2014, and I was having keychain, iMessage and WIFI problems. It fixed the keychain and iMessage but the freaking WIFI issues introduced with 10.10.2 are still here :'(
