I've tried searching on this but I see a lot more about upgrading SP2 than a fresh full XP SP3 install.

I have bootcamp 2.0 under 10.5.8 and proper FULL Win XP SP3 install disk. There is a 2.1 boot camp update but it is windows exe for some stupid reason, not a new Mac bootcamp installer.

How do I get this to install - I keep getting a "disk error" after the DVD has done its initial setup and restarts.

Please do not tell me to get XP with SP2 and upgrade.

Is there a Mac OS BC 2.1 with it all sorted, or some trick to doing a fresh XP+SP3 install.

meantime after several cups of coffee I discovered that doing a full reformat under the win installer make the disk error go away, so I can get to next step. Looks like Bootcamp 2.0 formatter is duff....

So I got to the next stage and discovered I could not find my Leopard disk. So I found my new Snow master and put the Boot camp 3 windows files on the windows side and it all came to life, including mac disk access.

So my steps were, for Leopard + XP+SP3 clean install

Run bootcamp 2.0
reformat PC disk under Windows installer
Load bootcamp 3 drivers from Snow Leopard master.

and all was eventually well.
