Friend requests not showing up on Game Center

Hey all,

I'm having a bit of a weird problem. For some reason, if someone tries to add me as a friend on Game Center, I never get the friend request. If I try to add them, THEY never get my request. The weird thing is, it works perfectly fine on my ipad. So right now I have alot more friends on my ipad Game Center because they're not showing up on my iphone. Does anybody have any idea of what the problem could be?

I'm having the same problem. I and my daughters all have iPhones and I have an iPad. Game center friend requests showed up on one daughters phone but not the others or mine. They did show up for me on my iPad. I've checked all of the settings and even rebooted our phones. Not sure why it's working for one and not the others. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

2 ipads with Game Center working fine, Daughter's ipod Touch, game center not recognizing any friends (her parents).

On her Touch, the game center start screen shows "2" friends in the ribbon, but on the "friend" tab, it says "No friends"

Same problem, I have 3 iPod touches, two 4th generation and one 3rd generation. All different game center accounts. I can sent friend requests but none of the 3 accounts show the received friend requests in the game center. Please help.

If you are experiencing this problem then you are having issues with the data on third party devices. If you go to your friends on Game Center and try to see their friends, it should say something that has to do with a data problem. To fix this you need to update to iOS 7.1.2. If you look in the details of the update, it will show that it fixes bugs that have to do with third party data. I had this problem but figured it out. Thanks for reading.
