My friend is thinking about selling his 3G iPad to get the wifi version and get the new Evo phone.

However we wasn't sure if he should remove the sim card before selling his 3g iPad or keep it in there.

What do you all think?

He asked me and I had no clue.

Thanks

No need to remove the SIM, I sold my 3G ( i am stupid and getting another one because i want it back now ) on Craigslist.

Just make sure he Clears all data and settings back to default and go into the cellular data settings and cancel his att account and make sure he selects CANCEL IT NOW, Not cancel it after the 30 days. That way all his CC info is wiped and not tied to that device anymore ( or SIM should i say )

Thats what i did and when the guy came by to pick it up, It was like i just pulled it from the box, all my personal data and CC info removed.
