Hey there. I’ve been enjoying the friends feature on Apple Music since the latest release of iTunes last week, and it was the first thing I looked for on my iPhone after installing iOS 11. Was it left out of 11.0 for some reason?

All blogs and news sites still mention the feature, and it’s visible in the screenshots for Apple Music in the App Store...so I’m assuming this is a unique problem (lucky me). I know where to look (For You, tap on profile in the upper right), so if it is there, my version doesn’t have it. I’ve restarted my phone and I’ve deleted and reinstalled Apple Music, to no avail.

I believe that playlist section is dynamic, so it may not always show what your friends are listening to. Don't forget you'd also need friends who updated to iOS 11 and are using the Music App (I believe Apple Music may also be required, but don't quote me on that).

My whole profile wasn’t showing up. However, I fixed it! The issue was I had Connect toggled off under Restrictions.

Go to Settings, General, Restrictions and make sure you have Apple Music Profile, etc. enabled.
