Fring Push Is Out Now!!!!!!!

huh? Ive got version 1.2.0.7 (22/06/09) here, and i ain't seeing no push...weird version numbering?
 
Something isn't right with this. I've got 1.2.0.7 and it is not push enabled ! though the App Store says it is..

that is weird, I went to just look and first I saw 1.1.0.7 then I went back after I sync'ed my phone and *voila* 1.2.0.4 showed up!

oh, and it says it supports push.....
 
badges

i have not seen any push noti's but i did see a badge with my twitter count for unread tweets show up on my app icon when i closed the app. i don't know if that was new or old. it was like the badge for inbox messages when you close your facebook.
 
can anyone tell me the purpose of push for fring if I use beejive as my primary IM client?

does it notify me when I receive a call from SIP?
 
got the new update.. don't see anything regard push. nothing over on fring's forum either
 
no salt, no pepa, no push it!

i was hoping it would push twitter replies but it does nothing but load the feed.....big whoop.

the best is beyond the ads on the bottom it says fring from time to time they will add a "promo" signature of some type to your IM's....sweet!

i'd say skip this app

Looks like it's still work in progress.
