These are the worst things on the Internet and there doesn't seem to be any way to hide them. Does anyone know of any ad blocker capable of blocking these crap ads/links?

Those are two places I run into them consistently (political sites). I run into them fairly often on other news sites as well, don't think I've ever seen them on tech sites.
