New to the forum ( Hello All ) and I have a couple simple questions regarding jailbreaking my iphone 3g, so lets get to it.

All questions are considering the phone is jailbroken.

1. Can I still use the regular app store for both free and paid apps

2. If so does my existing purchased apps reload through itunes once i hook it back up

3. If I ever need to get the phone back to apple I obviously have to restore it, you guys mention doing so through itunes, is there a way that all the apps and settings I have created can be stored somehow so that you can revert back on say my new phone or repaired phone.

4. Once jailbroken its ok to connect to itunes there is no way it detects the phone has been jailbroken in other words it doesnt see say cydia or other apps I have on the phone etc.

Thanks for the help

1.yeah
2.yeah
3.yeah, they are just stored in itunes then you sync it back after restore
4.works fine, doesnt detect anything

i've jailbroken 3g like 5 times and restored perfectly, nothing to worry about in my experience.

I understand that restoring the iPhone will get back all my legit apps but say I restore then get back home with a new phone or serviced and jailbreak again all of my customization and apps I got through cydia have to be added back manually or is there a way to restore to it's previous jailbroken state
