I had a few captures left on my CF card so I decided to take some shots from my roof this morning (before capturing all the stored pictures in one swipe).

I don't know, I really enjoyed this shot for some reason. Thought I would share it.

It lacks detail do you have another one with a higher resolution?;) higher than 0x0 that is.

It's awesome! Love the moon crest at the top of the pic. Rooftops are a great way to capture some nature in the city.

i thought the same, the moon in it i really like! there is something appealing about that picture!

Yeah, I like the moon. I also like the way the moon looks in that sky, which is blue on top and gets more orange at the horizon, which happens to be the same colour as the moon.

yeah, I loved the teeny-tiny moon also. The image was originally more blue-ish as there was not much sunlight. Lightening the exposure and giving it a slight magenta tint in camera raw colored the moon and brightened up the horizon.

As far as lack of detail. I agree. I had focused on the buildings waaaaaaay in the background (center), which received more light than most other objects in the frame. Most detail got lost during the resize and compression. I'm not very good at sharpening photos either.

I really like that shot too!

Makes me think of the cool calm before a really hectic day.

It's quite relaxing to look at. Have you got a bigger version?

I can post a larger version. Tried a moment ago but did not realize there was a data-size limit. I'll mess around with compression settings after I finish my work. If that fails, I will upload to my student-ftp space tomorrow.
