Ok, I open Safari and click the button on the bottom right, circled in yellow:

I then see my old device noted, again circled in yellow, instead of my current iPhone X:

I checked Settings > General > About and the name there is correct - iPhone X.

Where is it getting that 8 Plus?

Any chance you're logged on to an iPhone 8 Plus with the same iCloud account as on your X?

I see my Safari tabs from my iPad there when checking on my X.

I still have it, but it’s all boxed up ready for sale. I didn’t sign out of iCloud, but I did reset all settings and erased data, and I removed it from my devices in iCloud. What can I do now?
[doublepost=1509994811][/doublepost]Oh, I see where you can swipe left and close those tabs at the bottom, so I did that, and it may have resolved the issue.

The pages persist for a while, as I understand it. It should have dropped off naturally after a short time.
