I have an iPhone 11.
  • The front microphone does not work, only when using the default Apple Camera app.
  • The front microphone works good, when using any and all third party apps.
  • The rear and bottom microphones work good.
In Camera settings, I have to disable Stereo Sound for the rear microphone to work properly when recording video, because it's trying to use the front microphone at the same time. With Stereo Sound disabled, the rear microphone works great recording video.

Everything has been working great, until today. I've tried shutting the phone off, and back on again. I didn't want to do it, but I tried Reset All Settings, and that didn't solve anything.

I'm running iOS 13.7, if it matters. I really don't want to upgrade to iOS 14, but I will if this solves the problem. Based on my testing, I'm assuming it's software, because it only happens when using the preinstalled Apple Camera app.

Any help or advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I upgraded to iOS 14.6 to see if that fixed the problem, and the same problem is happening.

I don't know what else to try...
