Just wondering why since front row is so media driven wouldnt of Apple just have put a tv tuner card in there with the new iMac G5's? Does anyone think that we will be seeing an update like this in anytime soon? Seems to me that this would of been a very popular concept.

Yep, that is the onlly thing stopping me from telling my parents to pull the trigger on this new iMac G5.... if anything it should be a BTO option... tv tuners are just so usefull...cphoran81 said:
As much as I would like to see a TV tuner in a mac, it may not happen. Why? Three words: iTunes video store. If there was a TV tuner in the macs there would almost be no need to buy shows when you can record them. I have an eyetv from elgato and like it. It doesn't have that "mac" feeling to it, but I can record tv shows like tivo, save them for later (FrontRow) and even export them to my video iPod. Works for me...
