I would like to be able to use front row on my HDTV and still have the monitor on my MBP available for web surfing, etc. Is this possible? Right now I have the HDTV set as the primary monitor, so it displays Front Row, but it blacks out the screen on my 13" MBP. Thanks

Damn, that many views and nothing. Well, anyway I kinda figured out a solution. I just set VLC to be my default video player which is capable of outputing video to my HDTV while leaving my MBP available for use. Then I can use front row when I just want to watch video on the HDTV.

The remote can be used with VLC and you can wake the MBP with the lid closed using the remote to have the HDTV as the only (primary) display.

Not possible. FR is designed to be a TV interface. As such, it takes over all screens when activated, even if your computer is in dual monitor mode -- the 2nd monitor just goes to black.
