hey guys,

just wondering if it would be possible to connect the macbook pro to an hdtv using the dvi out, and have front row display on the TV while still having the laptop LCD available for other work. (browsing, etc)

thanks,
Daniel

im no expert, but i would guess you could, however the menu bar would only be on the primary screen. (w/ front row), so you would have to live without your menu bar or dock.

That's what I would have thought too. An interesting test would be to make the external screen the primary, start FrontRow then switch the primary screen back to the internal screen. I imagine FrontRow would move screens, but you never know.
