front row quest

i have most of my videos on my external hd....so how do i get front row to go to that folder to find my videos instead of the user/videos folder? all my photos and music are on the internal drive though in the location front row looks for them in...

Try making a shortcut to your movies folder and putting it in user/movies

but would the file name same shortcut:file name?

also, how do i get the tvshows to show up in the tv show part of front row, and the movies to show up in the movies etc if they arent from itunes?

I just make folders in my ~/Movies/ folder, and name them as I want them to appear in Front Row.
You can drop the aliasses in there.

yeah but i want it to be organized by tv shows, and movies and stuff like that

how would front row know the diff?

i have a folder on my external named movies- with all of my dvds backedup
and i have a folder named tv shows with simpsons, seinfeld, the office, curb your enthusiasm, etc
