I have a time capsule that I use to store my movies and TV shows on. Under the movies folder I can place an alias to the time capsule and it will read from that allowing me to play all my movies from within front row.

My problem is where do I put the alias for my TV shows so that it appears under the TV shows folder inside of Front Row.

I can't seem to figure this out and I already tried putting it into the TV show folder inside of the "User-music-itunes-tv shows."

Any Ideas?

In order for them to show up under TV Shows in Front Row, they must be added to iTunes on your computer. However, in order to be added to iTunes, they must be in a format that iTunes can add meta data to. To get this, you have a couple of options. First, you can convert your TV shows to mp4 format. Second, you can create a mov file using QuickTime Player 7. Because mov is a container format, it doesn't require converting your files to an alternate format.

Also, in order to maintain the files on your Time Capsule as the main files, you need to change the setting in iTunes to tell iTunes not to copy files when added to your library.

Hope this helps.
