I already have emoji, so I don't really care, but for all of you fellas(or gals) ot there that don't have it unlocked yet the long awaited update is out. I'm not sure if it enables emoji, but let us know if it does on here =]

If you only want emoji, you can try "Spell Number" that is FREE.

Spell Number is without a doubt the fastest way. I had my emoji unlocked a long time ago (Thanks Cydia!) but my mom got a iPhone this weekend. I updated it to 2.2.1 and typed emoji in appstore. I got the Spell Number, typed the numbers they tell you to type and when I activated it in the keyboard! It was even faster then through Cydia:eek:

EmotiFun is even faster. You launch the app then close it and activate Emoji. No playing with the app or anything. By far the easiest and fastest. Plus it's free!

It looks like it's been taken out of the app store. Bummer glad I got it when I did.

Frostyplace is now free for two weeks. It even says in the description that it works, so I suggest going to get it =]

I suggest Spell Number as well..

I unlocked the Emoji in my iPod Touch, and 2 iPhones (mine and my wife's) using the FrostyPlace app, as we had not yet updated to 2.2.1. I also walked my dad through doing it for his and my mom's iPhones.

I had several friends who had already done the update, so when I found SpellNumber, I had them use that.

Even it FrostyPlace is working, the SpellNumber application is the easiest way to do it right now (as the EmojiFun App was pulled).

SpellNumber was simply a matter of following the Easter Egg tip and then activating the keyboard. It took me a little while with the FrostyPlace app to get it right. Besides, if I ever get really Lazy, I can use SpellNumber to make sure I am writing my checks correctly!!

Just my 2 cents!

EDIT/UPDATE: I just checked on Spell Number in the App Store and it is currently $.99. The note says he is changing the price for a few hours and will change it back to free, but for now it is a 99 cent app.

Zimm, this is yet another new thread you started which contains nothing that couldn't have been added to one of the existing Frosty or Emoji threads.
You really don't need to make an entirely new thread for every fricken miniscule app update.

Frostyplace however.. Its too little too late. Working (free) emoji enablers pipped the Frosty update to the post already.
